Service Charge: A $150.00 fee applies to any service call cancelled after the technician’s arrival, or a call dispatched on a weekend or after normal business hours.

Service Agreement: CPL agrees to perform the requested service professionally using industry-standard equipment. There are no expressed or implied warranties or guarantees. Any consequential damages due to the service performed are not recoverable.

Leak Detection: Leak detection is NOT an exact science. Leak Detection is a process of elimination based on available information and technologies. As such, CPL makes no warranties and/or guarantees—expressed or implied—and no consequential damages will be recoverable due to the work performed hereunder. If a water line reroute or re-pipe is needed, customers should engage a plumber to first cut, cap, and verify the suspected leaking line. If the identified line is not the leaking loop, customers should call CPL immediately for further detection before any repairs or new pipe is installed.

Risks: Customers acknowledge that CPL may use compressed air tanks or air compressors to introduce gases into water lines, which carries inherent risks. Customers expressly assume all risks associated with this equipment’s use for leak detection.

Underground Utilities: Access to all areas in and around the work site is necessary when locating underground utilities. Preliminary depths and line sizes will be provided where available; these depths are estimates until confirmed. Some utilities may be untraceable, and CPL is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from undetected utilities.

New Customer Policy: Full payment is required upon service completion via a preauthorized credit card. For services expected to exceed $1000, a 35% retainer is required before services commence.

Payments: CPL accepts checks, credit cards, debit cards, ACH or cash.  A $10 convenience fee applies to credit card/debit card payments.

Past Due Accounts: Accounts overdue will incur a monthly charge of 1.5%, equivalent to an annual rate of 18% on the unpaid balance. Accounts referred to collections due to nonpayment will be subject to a charge of one-third of the total balance due.
